“Express Yourself Globally”

One of the best keep secrets is no longer a secret. It is time to “Express Yourself". Using Express Tools that will by far save you valuable time in editing drawings. This is just one of the many tools that will really impress the ones you work around and make you really look like a power CAD user.

GATTE – (Global Attribute Edit) Globally changes attribute values for all insertions of a specific block.

Command: GATTE
Select block or attribute [Block name]: Pick a block, or enter B for the block name
Enter new text: This text will replace what you want to change when you select the specific attribute in the block or type attribute name:
Select attribute or type attribute name: Select the attribute you want to change or enter the attribute tag name:
Number of inserts in drawing = ?# Process all of them? [Yes/No] : If no, select the block inserts to process

It may take a little practice but really is easy to use and the payoff is great.
